My boyfriend and I graduated together this year and spent all of summer together since he was going off to college. He’s not incredibly far away, just an hour and a half. I’m just feeling a little worried. He’s been the most amazing thing to happen to me and I really feel like he’s my entire home. So having him so far away hurts. I was keeping it together but I think that’s mainly because I was in denial up until our last night. And today (move in day) has been pretty hard too. I was about to cry while I was on ft with him. I have a lot of faith in our relationship and I see us having an amazing future together but it’s still upsetting and I still have my insecurities. And it really doesn’t help when his college handed out pamphlets about long distant relationships, which in the pamphlet led to trouble in the relationship, then to “depression due to relationship ending and how to cope” or some shit like that. Any advice, words of wisdom, or even just anything to cheer me up?
