Learning to live alone after a divorce

How do you transition? I’ll be moving from a large house into an apartment. It’s gonna be difficult for me because I also fostered animals and wanted to adopt another, but that won’t be possible anymore (2 pets is the limit). I also don’t have friends and there aren’t many meetups in the area.

I’m trying to break the cycle of abuse and emotional dependence with my narcissistic husband. I have tried to leave countless times and end up staying. I can’t do it. I don’t have a family and have no support.
