Attachment parenting
Does anyone else practice attachment parenting? And not just bed sharing and baby wearing but just the principal of fostering an attached bond with your baby with the intention of them becoming more independent in the long run because they know they can safely explore their surroundings because they know you’ll be there to keep them safe?
I’m just so sick of hearing “you hold your baby too much” or “you’re spoiling them” or “just let them cry it out” (the WORST one imo). I didn’t have a baby so I could fit it into my pre existing life. Less sleep is kind of what you sign up for when having a baby.
I love attachment parenting and positive discipline and yes bed sharing breastfeeding baby wearing cloth diapering baby led weaning etc etc!
