Orange and Ginger Chicken ππ
I want to share with you my favourite chicken recipe. English is not my first language so excuse my mistakes. Here's what you need: 1 tablespoon lemon juice (freshly squeezed), orange zest from 1 orange (be careful to not get any of the white stuff, it makes it bitter and you don't want that), orange juice from 1 orange(the same you took the zest from), 2 tablespoons of grated (?) ginger, 2 tablespoons soy, 2 1/2 teaspoon salt, 3 ml cayenne pepper, 50 g butter and 1-1 1/2 kg chicken (parts like wings, legs, thighs, fillet, not a whole chicken). Mix all together and let it marinate for at least an hour. Put it in the oven at 175Β°C for 45 minutes. Pour the chicken with the "gravy" often. When the chicken is done, use the gravy to make a sauce by " filtering" the gravy first and then add in 3 dl creme fraiche and heat up. Use the left over lemon and orange and throw it in the rice while boiling it to make it extra good (and to minimise waste). π
