Yes. When I lost my virginity my period was very late and I was not on birth control or anything, so you bet I was scared lol! It was so long ago but I still remember going online and googling this same question.

The only thing that changed for me is my body decided to spot between periods. It's only done it 3 times tho. once when I lost my virginity,  2nd when I got on the depo shot for the 1st time and then 3rd when I got a new partner

I got on birth control when I was 15 and lost my virginity when I was 17. I was on the pill to regulate my period because it was so irregular and HEAVY. After I lost my virginity I spotted a little bit and bled a couple of days, stopped, then had my normal period after that. It didn't last very long.
