How does your little one fall asleep?

My LO is a month now and the other night fell asleep when i was teying to burp her. I had her draped over my leg head in one hand patting her back with the other and within the first few pats she was out. It was cute! Her most common way she falls asleep is when laying in my arms even at night. I'll put her in her bassinet after she fell asleep when feeding and not a few minutes later will wake up and wont fall back asleep in her bassinet so i lay with her in our bed until she falls asleep.  Its becomes frustrating when i am not wanting to cosleep with her. We'll get it down eventually still early. Comment how your LO falls asleep.

Well since 8 weeks just put him in his bed awake and he goes to sleep. 
BUT in those early days like you it was exhausting. I never once put him in my bed because I was scared of rolling on him so I would rock him in his bassinet until he fell asleep. I think I Kaye’s next to the bassinet for weeks trying to get him to settle. But persistence pays off. Stick with it, the first few months are exhausting and we do what we can to sleep.

When my son was first born I would swaddle him, rock him for a few minutes, and then put him in his Rock n play with the rock and music on. Now he’s 2 years old and we put on his night projector and he will talk to his stuffies for a bit and then fall asleep.

Lately, he’ll scream/cry for 30-45 minutes and eventually tore himself out and crash.

The first month to two months she fell asleep on her own or just being slightly rocked or nursed to sleep. i nursed her to sleep for the first 8 months of her life. Then she was over that lol and i rocked her to sleep til shenwas about 15 ish months old. There was a rare time in there she would fall asleep on her own or cried it out. But mainly i rocked/swayed her to sleep. Then the last two ish months (shes 18 months now) i just put her in her crib and she goes to sleep on her own. Sometimes ill snuggle and sway and hum a song before putting her in her crib. I kinda miss how it used to be though its soooo much less work now!

Birth to 3.5 months- breastfeeding or bottle feeding. After that, we’d put him down awake (purposely) after “soothing” with breastfeeding or bottle feeding and let him fall asleep on his own without any type of aid. It taught him how to fall asleep without help so he’d start sleeping through the night unless waking up hungry. We started using a sleep program that taught how to teach self soothing and it was a goldmine! He started loving his crib and preferring to fall asleep (and go back to sleep) without help. We all started sleeping through the night :)

Mine is now 17 months old. But he’s been the same way since birth. He has two main ways he falls asleep. Either rocking him at night or nap times with his bottle of course. Or more often then not he just wants to lay down. When he was smaller he would eat then lay down. Now that he’s older I give him his bottle and lay him down. Go back and take bottle after. But you gotta love the different ways they like to sleep. My older two wouldn’t go to sleep without being rocked and sang to. Didn’t matter what song I sang just I sang. And believe me I CANT sing. Lol. 
She is too precious. Hang in there mama. It will get better.

From 0-2 months our daughter was cuddled/swayed to sleep and then I cut that habit and got into falling asleep on her own. She gets hugs and kisses and then laid down with her pacifier. She's out within 5 minutes.
