Okay, so basically, my mom is forcing me to go to this school that's like private school quality but free. All of my lifelong friends are going to another high school, where literally everyone else I know is going. I feel like being a Freshman is hard enough, but I know absolutely nobody, and the homework at the school I'm going to is on average 4+ hours a night. (It's super advanced and apparently one of the best high schools in the state.)

I'm super bad at making friends and I feel like people aren't going to like me. I don't want to lose my old friends, but I don't think my mom is going to let me see them because she refuses to drive me anywhere.

Does anyone have any advice for making friends, new schools, or just being a Freshman in general? Thanks in advance. 😘
