So for those of you who had leaks that ended up being atomic fluid, was it just a leak or did you have other discharge mixed in? This morning around 4:50 I woke up feeling very wet between my legs so I went to clean up, I thought it was a leak and it took three times to wipe and get it cleaned up but there was also mucus mixed in. Well all day I’ve had the wet feeling but a lot of time it’s accompanied by pieces of mucus plug or chunks. I’ve been losing chunks since 29 weeks but never with water or liquid so I’m confused if it’s fluids or just an increase in discharge. I was sitting on the couch just now and felt some more come out and had to change my pants (I wasn’t wearing underwear just sweatpants) they weren’t soaked but it was enough to be uncomfortable. It was a wet spot with a small string of mucus. When my water broke with my first it was a small gush and contractions but no mucus so I have no idea if the two come out together. The hospital is 40 minutes away and I have a 2 year old toddler so I really don’t want to make an unnecessary trip.

So just an update it definitely comes out more when I’m having a Braxton Hicks. I was sitting down and got up to walk down stairs and I felt fluid come out while I was talking to my husband.
