Tips for long toes

So ever since one of ex’s pointed out that my toes look “ giant ” I’ve began to feel extremely insecure about my toes to the point where I will only wear fully enclosed shoes. I just want to wear thongs and cute heels so please can someone give me tips on maybe how to make my toes appear smaller?
