Time for my story

Time for my story!
I went in to be induced two days after my due date at exactly midnight. After 3 rounds of Cytotec (12 hours), I was finally dilated to 1 cm. Doctor successfully broke my water at this point and started Pitocin which is when things really switched into gear.
Contractions were unbearable and I was experiencing back labor if I was laying on my back and experiencing front and back contractions on my sides so not much later it was epidural time.
I have severe scholiosis so the anesthesiologist took about 10-15 mins to find the perfect position for the needle during which time I had to sit slanted toward my belly with my feet up on a chair in complete agony while my water continued to leak more and more. The crocodile tears were very real at this point.
After the epidural I was virtually in no pain but I wasn’t dilating any, either. After 18 full hours of labor (midnight to 7:30) and still only being dilated 1 cm, my doctor decided a csection was the better and safest route.
The procedure began and I was terrified, thinking I wasn’t going to make it through, never even considering cesarean an actual option. My fiancé was holding my hand when I started to feel not only the pressure of them pulling but sharp pains as well so they had to put me to sleep, kicking my fiancé out of the room.
What was supposed to be a quick 15 minute procedure then turned into an hour long one because he just didn’t want to come out. But then he did.....
