How many second chances to give a husband?

As Christians are we called to remain in the marriage even if unhappy, if there has been emotional/physical abuse, or if the spouse was taking pictures of random women’s body parts in public? I’m so disgusted I don’t know if I can ever get over that.

But God doesn't want to see you unhappy or hurt 
If someone is abusive and cheating on you, leave them.

Adultery, abuse, and abandonment are biblical grounds for divorce, but you don’t HAVE to, if both of you want to work on it. My FIL is a repeat adulterer and MIL is convinced they should still stay married even though they’re separated ( she got what in my opinion is some very bad unbiblical advice from a pastor years ago). I’ve seen how damaging that is to her as a person. I told my husband point blank I would leave him. I might - might- give him one more chance if he were truly repentant and willing to work it out but the trust would be gone and would take a long time and a lot of work to build back. More than once, no way

This is a very touchy subject and every Christian believes differently about when divorce is ok. We are called to forgive and divorce is a horrible thing but only you know what you're going through in your marriage. I recommend seeking some Christian counsel by a pastor/priest. They could better lead you with biblical truth and let you know what your steps should be. I don't know the exact abuse that is going on in your marriage but I don't believe that God wants us to live in an abusive marriage. Marriage counseling could help if your husband is willing to change. Sounds like he needs some therapy himself. God can turn marriages around but only if the spouse wants it to change and be better.

That seems like adultery to me. Pray, speak with a pastor, and let the Holy Spirit guide the way. Adultery (especially unrepentant) is Biblical grounds for divorce.

Nope. Cheating, abuse, and criminal activity are all biblical reasons to divorce your partner. We're called to live peaceably with everyone if we can, but if that person is abusing us, cheating on us, it engaged in criminal acts, we can divorce them or separate from them. God doesn't call us to remain in unsafe or wrong marital situations.

Are all those things happening in your marriage? Taking pictures like that is wrong and considered adultery, which already gives you the freedom to divorce. If he is hurting you physically or emotionally harming you, you are free to leave. Unhappy all on its own in a marriage i would say to pray and seek guidance, if it was ONLY this I would give chance for change. Divorcing on unhappiness alone is a hard one
