Normal or Weird?

If you had 3 boys ages 7, 3, and 1 and lived in a 3 bedroom house (with potential to turn an enclosed office/den into a bedroom as well) would you put all 3 boys together in one room and use the other room as a guest bed room (even though you have never once had company stay at your house. I.e. everyone lives within 10-30 minutes of you)

What’s the point of having an extra room that won’t be used while your cram your kids together? This is just stupid

Idk what state you live in but in some states if kids are more than 5 years apart (even if same sex) they aren't supposed to share rooms, according to child services. It has to do with such a difference in maturity. You dont want a 12 year old boy who is "experimenting" with himself in the same room as a 6 year old who doesn't understand. So it would probably be best to let the younger ones share a room and the oldest have his own. Besides 3 boys in one room could be crazy lol

The oldest gets the smaller room. Then if the time comes that the younger ones need more space someone goes to the office. Haha

If you have the space I would separate them but I also see no problem putting them together. Two of my younger brothers and I shared a room until I was 14 🤷🏻‍♀️ it was because we didn’t have another room (single mom only a one bedroom and she slept in the living room). But as soon as we got a larger home we got separate rooms.
