Delivered early on my due date
Delivered early on my due date! August 22, 2018!! My boyfriend left at 4:30 am and that’s when I started having contractions I wasn’t sure if they were contractions or not because my first labor was induced and I didn’t have any of these things happen! I never thought they’d get strong being his due date and definitely didn’t see him making an appearance like he did. I drove to my dad’s about 5:30 am because I wasn’t sure what to do with my other son or if it was the real thing, my boyfriend ended up coming home and we dropped River (our son) off at 7 am got to the hospital at almost 8 am had him 8:24 am. When we got there they were getting me registered just to check me out and ended up getting me in a room because she thought I looked uncomfortable. She got a urine sample and started to get all the questions answered while waiting on another nurse to check my cervix. The nurse manager came in and told me I was 4cm and went to was her hands and the other nurse was starting to put in my iv. I had her wait cause I was having a contraction, so she waited and then I held up my hand ready for her to do it. The other nurse came back and we lost the baby’s heartbeat on the monitor because the monitor had slipped down to far so they had me roll to the side and as I turned I told her baby was coming I pushed him out in one push and barley had my iv in the doctor never made it to the room and the nurse barely caught the baby! We Went from 4cm to baby here in a matter 5 minutes. About 3 hours later she came in and brought me some snacks and said she’s been a nurse for 27 years and never seen someone hide their pain as well as I did and never thought I would have pushed out a baby before she could even realize I was in pain. The whole hospital knew about my delivery which was kinda crazy. I have to say after both my labors this was the easiest I’ve had and was so quick and painless. No medicine or epidural nothing barley had my iv in! Branson Kendal Rogers was a Johnny on the dot baby! 💙
