Circumcision Question

So I live in Alabama. I’ve done research and can’t find anything about laws or anything about it so I have a question to you recent mamas of boys. Were you or your SO allowed to be in the room while the procedure was done? I was told by a family member no but looking through blogs from years ago it depended on the hospital. Is that still the case where is varies from hospital to hospital or are all hospitals made to comply with giving the parents a choice to be there?
