How long did you wait to start having sex again after your c-section?

Just curious if anyone has had sex before the six weeks or if most wait until after?

8 weeks and no pain. I was not doing anything until my birth control (Mirena) was in though, and my doctor wouldn’t do it until around 6-7 weeks. I really had zero interest in sex for a while though cuz I was so tired.

Lol hubby and I lasted oy 2 weeks then we did obvs had to go slower cuz I was still super sore from the incision

I tried so hard to make it to 6wks but my sex drive was shit my whole pregnancy and watching my SO take care of our baby was the hottest things ever. I made it to 5wks. My vagina hurt a lot right after but was fine the next day. I decided to wait another week after that 😂

I was given the okay with my dr after 4 weeks op.. boy did i wish i wated, 😂 the sex hurt so bad vaginally 😂

Three months postpartum and we haven’t been intimate. I bled for nearly 11 weeks and then was put on meds that made me regain a lot of the weight I had lost. Hoping to go off them soon and no longer be a blob person. I do miss my husband.
