Nostril piercing, NEED HELP

So I got my nose pierced yesterday the piercer did say it could get swollen and told me how to care for it. She also used a corkscrew ring for it. Today I woke up and the stud was in my nose (it didn’t hurt or anything) i was able to push the stud out from the inside with a sanitized Qtip but it keeps sinking back in. Is this normal? I really dont wanna take it off since it’s not bothering me. I called the place and she said it’s normal until the swelling goes away. Advice?
