I had the same last week, your cervix can be irritated by really anything. It went away after a couple of days and I had a midwife appointment and they easily found the heartbeat. I wouldn't be too worried but if it makes you feel more comfortable, contact your doctor to see if they can use a doppler for the heartbeat?
