Implantation? Or hormones? Or Both?

So I got my nexplanon removed last Tuesday. So 6 days ago. I started my period the next day (Wednesday) as expected. My period, while on the implant was always regular and lasted a full 7 days. This time it lasted 4. I didn’t bleed at all yesterday and then today I wake up to spotting. Very light but bright pink. Me and my husband had sex the day I go it removed and the day I started my period. Then last night. And well I guess what I’m wondering is WHY AM I SPOTTING?! I literally don’t even remember what my periods were like before I was on birth control bc Ive been on some type of birth control for the past 8 years. And I’m praying I’m not one of those with irregular bleeding and spotting!

Update: I’ve had cramps throughout the day as well. It’s turned to a light pinkish and light brown
