Allergic reaction??

Hey there! I’m a ftm starting solids with my little guy. We have been going strong for about a month now and today I decided to give him carrots for the first time however when I fed them to him I noticed his checks got a really red splotchy-ness(?) to them..I googled it but of course I’ve gotten like 7,000 difference answers..I’m just wondering if this could be an allergic reaction ??? I tried my best to get a picture of it but with a squirmy little baby it isn’t easy 🤦🏻‍♀️

I stopped feeding him the carrots once I noticed it and it has gone down a little. But I’m still confused lol

I’m probably just paranoid but I wanted to get a second opinion just to be sure!
