Hsg 😑

I had an HSG done a few days ago and mine was not painful. On a pain scale of 1 to 10, mine was uncomfortable at a one or two. It just goes to show everyone is different. I was reading about peoples experiences on here being so painful. I was so worried going into the procedure. I lucked out on this one. I took 800 mg of ibuprofen an hour before. Good luck to you!

I had a 2nd HCG test done today. I had one done about a year ago. But since we are starting ivf in a month they suggested another one. I can honestly say I don’t remember it hurting as much as it did the 2nd time. I have a high pain tolerance and there was times it took my breath away. The good thing is that it doesn’t last long at all. Felt like an intense Pap smear. But everyone is different.

HSG is a brilliant procedure- take painkillers about 20 mins before though because you’ll feel a little tender after. I had one last October and it didn’t hurt, was just odd?
