when to stop using baby monitors...?

Question: when did you mommas stop using a baby monitor?

Our LO is 2.5 years old and we still use our monitor when she’s sleeping, mostly because if we didn’t we wouldn’t know if or when she woke up. She does not get out of bed until one of us opens the door and goes in to her room. So if she woke up and needed something in the middle of the night we wouldn’t know because she literally wouldn’t get out of her bed and come find us (she can open the bedroom doors by herself).
