I like him but his dress sense is off putting...

So I’ve recently started seeing this older guy from work. We’re both police officers so I see him in uniform like 95% of the time and I think he looks absolutely i-want-to-rip-his-shirt-off sexy. I’m not even joking, I would get all hot and bothered every time he’s in his kit. However, every now and then when I see him before he gets changed, I’ve noticed how terrible his dress sense is. I know it sounds really shallow of me but I’m not used to this, and I feel like the fact he’s 15 years older than me plays a part in our sense of taste. I try to think past it but I can’t help but realise how different it makes me act towards him. It just makes me slightly less attracted to him and awkward. Yes I’m aware I sound really immature and shallow but let’s take into consideration the age gap and how for us women sense of dress is quite a contributing factor to attraction.

What do I do? I don’t want to change him
