Old wives’ tales

Anyone come across an old wives tale that turned out to be correct? What are some OWT that you know of in regards to pregnancy/ttc?

This morning, as I was making an omelette, I cracked three medium eggs and two of the three had double yokes. This isn’t something that happens to me personally very often at all. According to an old wives tale, it either means someone in your immediate family is pregnant or if a woman who already knows she pregnant, it’s twins. Another one my grandma used to tell me that was passed on from her mother was that when a woman in your family dreams about fish, someone in the family is pregnant. Now that one was true for my second daughter. I was talking to my grandma on the phone one evening and she.m casually mentioned dreaming about fish. I found it funny/strange/odd considering I knew I was pregnant (hadn’t announced it yet) and she didn’t.
