should i break up with him?

everything is okay in the present moment but i don’t see a future with him... he doesn’t see a future for himself either. it’s driving me crazy and its hard for me to just enjoy the present when i’m with him because i’m constantly thinking about how we aren’t going to work out in the long run. i do love him so much but i feel like i’m wasting my time. should i wait it out and see if he figures out a goal for himself or should i just end it now? please help.

You should talk to him about it because communication is key. If you know all of this express how you feel and let go of the relationship so you wont be dissatisfied in the end.

If you love him and he loves you then ya'll should help each other climb the ladder of the future together.
Breaking up with someone should be based on whether the person makes you happy In the present moment and as you say everything is fine currently.
Understand that men, no matter how little they would like to admit it need direction in life. As a woman who loves him and wants the best for him. Be willing to inspire, motivate and at times push him to be the best version of himself.
Physical actions like actually sitting down as asking the difficult questions in a loving way could help. Have a weekly goal session where you discuss each other's goals for the week and how you can both help each other.
Allow him to understand that you want to the best for him and want him to start planning his life because you want to be part of his life and you want the both of you to have a happy and  successful one.
Worst regret is leaving a man with potential because you don't have the courage or patience to help him see his potential and then a few years later seeing him relies it because of a women who believed in him.
However all the above is based on whether you really love him and want a future with him or not. If not it's not worth it, allow another woman to help him climb.
