Introducing ourselves in class

In my English Composition I class we went around the class stating our name, where we’re from, our major, if we plan on transferring and a favorite movie,t.v show, band and a fun fact about ourselves( that nobody would know unless I told them)

I said my name is Mary, I’m from (town I live in).

That my major is medical assistant.

I don’t really have a set favorite movie but I love horror.

An for the fun fact I do t really have any but I’m a mom of three kids.

Almost the whole class was like wow. (I look younger than I actually am)

I told my BF what I said for a fun fact and he was like”babe that’s not really a fun fact”.

My response was” well should I have said I’m actually older than I look”?

I think saying I’m a mom of three was fine, nobody would have known unless I told them.
