Crying after sex?

So the last two times my husband and I have done it....right after he finished, I broke down in tears. The first time it was just a few tears, this last time it was a flood of tears. That has never happened to me before. Could it be from the long gap of not having sex at all, built up emotions, or what could be cause? Any of u ladies had a similar experience ?

I can relate, I used to get EXTREMLEY emotional, I always ended up crying or with a huge attitude , I havent had it in a long time but it was funny looking back at it. I googled it and its called "Post-coital dysphoria" or "post-coital tristesse":: is the term used to describe feeling of tearful, sad, anxious, aggressive, agitated or generally melancholic after sex. What is most interesting about the condition is that it happens after sex that is consensual. From a website

I did this once and only one with my now partner who I have an 8 month old with and am pregnant again 18 weeks! During sex he said I love you in the most meaningful way but it completely caught be off guard like I was all in the moment and it was all hot and sexy then he just did it and the hormones from the pregnancy!!!! I just burst into tears like proper where you haven't cried in ages and just need a good cry! I couldn't stop 😂😂😂😂 also it was so awkward because you know when they are about to finish and you feel it like twitching well that happened and he didn't know what to do whether it was just a momentary thing or whether we should stop so he was just ontop of me like what the actual hell is going on 🤣🤣🤣

I wept openly and hysterically once because he had to leave for work afterwards.  Normally after sex I just wanna roll over and sleep or go back to whatever was going on prior.  I am not a cuddler, I don’t wanna lay there and talk about my feelings.  So he freaked the hell out and started panicking thinking something was seriously wrong.  I don’t know why, but It happened.

It’s emotions you either feel a strong loving bond or you’re dealing with something within that’s triggered by sex. Think long and hard about it. Are they happy tears or does it leave you feeling depressed/down afterwards?
