Insight please ladies. I feel like all this work for nothing 😞

Last period ended July 31 af hasn’t arrived yet for August, I originally thought I had ovulated on the 14th of August so I was in the 2ww & tested bfn. I checked my opk on August 27th cd 33 because I had a ton of cramping and viola there was a peak!! The darkest opk I’ve ever seen. So now I’m thinking I ovulated late this month but never had af for August. Confused yet? Because I am. Unfortunately hubby was sick on the ov day but we did bd the day before and after, so now I’m thinking I’m in the 2ww at 2dpo. I’m gonna speak with my Dr but just wanted to see if anyone else has had a similar situation. Oh now my opk strips aren’t peak they are light now. #fml
