Hospital stay?

I didn't get a "normal" hospital stay last time around and I'm really hoping I get one this time 🤞🤞So I don't know what to expect.. how many days do you stay for a complication free vaginal delivery??

My hospital does around 24 hours for a vaginal birth with no complications. If the 24 hour mark is in the middle of the night, they’ll let you go early the following morning.

In N.C. you stay 2 days for vaginal birth and 3 for c-section. I had a vaginal birth, but had to stay for 7 days. First due to my son being jaundiced and second due to my uncontrollable high blood pressure. It was hell.

After a complication free vaginal delivery you stay for about 2 hours in the hospital after birth then go home.

I had baby at 4am on the Monday morning and they were allowing me to leave at 5pm that evening.but I chose to stay an extra night to ensure baby was latching properly as I was a first time mum.if this pregnancy and birth goes as smooth I will be leaving as soon as I can.

I was supposed to only stay two days (48 hours) for a vaginal delivery. But I stayed 72 because I had a big panic attack and my OB wanted me to stay for PPD (I have a history of depression). Plus my daughter was born at 10:44pm so they wanted her to stay the whole 72 hours since they didn’t want to discharge us around midnight. I’m sad the food was shit
