Help lol? tattoo

Looking at gettig this on my shoulder in october, or bicep. whatever you wanna call it. So the girl who is doing it asked me if i wanted to get a outline or shading. Shes gonna design it so i can get it added to in the future if i want I think just a outline cause i dont want the tattoo to go over 2 hours cause I'm 16 and honestly just saving up for the tattoo is gonna be atleast $350 so thats good enough for me 😂 What would look better. shading or outline?

I’d go for an outline first & see how you like it. 
If you don’t, you could go back for shading.

Outline. Here is my arm piece as just an outline. Personally, I like how it looks as is but could add to it later if I want

Linework first and shading after. That’s how the process works. Not really sure how she could do the shading first. Or did she mean both linework and shading in the same session maybe? I’d just be honest with her about your budget, if you only have enough for the linework, start with that and go back later for a followup session to get the shading done.
