I was accepted into the infertility program through the Army earlier this year, and through lab work found out I have a chromosomal abnormality (an extra marker chromosome). Literally a week before I began treatments, I found out we naturally conceived- I was SO EXCITED and yet so scared I’d have another miscarriage or that he would have a physical or mental abnormality. We had the Harmony test done, and our quad, and he showed NO ISSUES. Thank goodness. And we had our first anatomy scan a week ago... everything looked physically perfect and he had no fluid accumulation in the brain. I can even begin to explain the overwhelming joy I felt! I am so in love with him, and I cannot wait to meet him- Beau Leighton. 💙
