How to ask my friend to be God mother?

So over the years I've lost friends but there is one friend who even though we no longer work together, I know she's there for me and she's been so supportive throughout my pregnancy. She loves my unborn baby. Not just one of those who says they care, she's actually proven it. I want to ask her to be my daughters god mother but I can't think of a cute way to ask her. Any suggestions?

I’m trying to figure it out as well, but my best friend asked me to be the baby’s godmother by making me a lil “gift basket” w a bunch of baby stuff (that I would need to babysit) the onesie said “only the best of friends get promoted to auntie, and only the best aunties get promoted to nina.”
sooooo technically she didn’t really ask me, she told me 😂 but I still thought it was cute.
