Butt first...UPDATE
Literally. He came butt first. It happened so fast.
This morning I went to the doctor she thought he was laying funny but didn’t think he was breeched. I was only 3cm. And I was 36 weeks.
My water broke at 9pm, it literally popped. Called doctor she said to come in. We get there at 9:45. I’m having contractions non stop. I’m in so much pain. I’m still 3cm tho. They’re doing the ultrasound and can’t find his head. So many people came in trying to find it and I’m dying in pain. They check me again I’m 5cm.
Than it happened so fast. I can’t even recall most of it. But basically they said the baby is breeched and he’s coming now. I’m like what no epidural. Nope.
I’m in a different room now. So many people in there and I’m screaming. They’re telling me to breath and I need to push now. He started coming out butt first, he peed and pooed in the process lol but I’m screaming I’m in pain, I’m weak, it was terrible!!!!!! He was half out with his butt in the air. He finally came out.
I’m in so much pain. But I’m sitting here while my baby sleeps and I just can’t fall asleep Bc I’m a worried wart and so in love lol but
Jensen Grey was born at 11:21pm on August 30.
UPDATE...
I didn’t expect this post to get that many views! But thank you everyone!!!
Some more details Bc I wrote this on a whim when I couldn’t sleep after giving birth. My little boy weighed 6lb 15oz and 20.25 in. When he finally did come out apparently they went to put him on my chest but realized he wasn’t breathing, I didn’t realize this till my husband told me. I was in a lot of pain and so out of it.
He was born early so they had him hooked up to machines just to make sure his breathing was constant and everything was ok.
He had a lot of bruising. His butt, his balls, his hand and foot. The next day a nurse was changing him and goes you might want to take a look now so youre not freaking out later. It was bad. 4 days later and he finally doesn’t cry anymore when we change his diaper.
You can see a little bit of the bruising on his butt in this picture.
The pediatricians that came in mentioned we will need to get an ultrasound on his hips just to make sure everything is ok. They told us in their opinion they think he will be fine.
We are home now. He is 5 days old and doing great! He sleeps a lot and barely cries. Tomorrow we go to his first doctor visit!
