Polyp in early pregnancy

I am 6 weeks today and had my first ultrasound. The gestational sac was measuring normal, but no sign of baby yet. OB said that she did see a polyp that she thinks is blocking her from looking at the baby. She said it’s just so early that not seeing or hearing a heartbeat was normal, but I’m just a little concerned about it all.

Does anyone have any experiences with this type of thing? I’m going to the women’s center (that has a better ultrasound machine) in two weeks.

Morning sickness is in full force, no spotting or cramping though.
