do you let your child have dessert every night?

I only let my daughter have dessert some nights and only if she ate her dinner that night.

Only if she’s finished dinner and it didn’t take her a million years and 800 reminders. So not often at all.

Our desserts are fruit in the house, my daughter doesn’t get sugar and just recently started getting frozen fruit bars...she is 16 months but absolutely no where in site will we start giving her sugar (she also doesn’t get juice, maybe some lemonade with pure stevia, or unsweetened tea every now and then) 
Plan to keep her away from sugar as long as possible...and her birthday cake was watermelon ☺️
And she eats everything we give her, even raw bell pepper

If my kids eat all of their dinner they can have dessert. Typically dessert is just some type of cookie, a popsicle or a peanut butter cup, sometimes cake or ice cream if we have them in the house.

I dont have children....but desert would be fruit or similar healthy alternative. Junk food is a treat to me not apart of a daily diet or a reward for eating healthy foods.

My kid hardly ever has dessert at my house.. Once in a while if she is still hungry after dinner I have a lower sugar, grain free peanut butter cookie she will have one or two of. She does have snacks like a cookie or Graham cracker durring the afternoon.. just not close to bed time..

Depends what the dessert is. Growing up sometimes dessert was ice cream or cake which I was only allowed to have sometimes. But other times my dessert was fruit or pastries that I had every night (when I didn't have cake or ice cream lol).
