Painful sex!!

Okay girls! So me and my boyfriend have been dating for 2 years so we figured we might as well try sex we have talked about it so much so let’s try so we tried having sex he loved it and I HATED it I was in so much pain I am very tight down there he says and when he tries to go in I tense up and it hurts me even more... we have tried a ton of lube and it will still hurt and we tried fore play and lube and then he tried to go in but it still hurts! I can’t relax when we do it so what is y’all’s opinion on ways to enjoy it ?? I would love to bc it makes me feel bad when we try and it just hurts me so bad I cry and tell him to stop
