Feeling down /:

I’m having a really hard time deciding what to do. My lo is almost 4 weeks old and up until a few days ago he was strictly on breast milk. I was exclusively pumping. He never would latch. I tried a nipple shield and he latched great but he literally gets milk everywhere. All over him, me, the bed. I’ve tried pumping and then letting him latch bc the flow may have been too much. Same thing happens. I have D-MER. I’ve been having problems keeping my supply up. I’ll go from 5-6 oz a pump to maybe 3. I’ve been trying all of the foods that help with lactation. After I get up and feed him I then have to take another 30 mins to pump and put everything away and wash it, I want my lo to have breast milk bc he’s having s hard time with formula. But I am TIRED. Plus formula is expensive. I just need some encouragement I guess or advice. I’m feeling so useless. Like my body can’t do what it is supposed to. 😓

Plus he starts spitting up like crazy and having a super hard time pooping and is really fussy after formula.!
