Tubal Ligation?

I am 28 with a 9 year old son and 8 year old daughter. Their father and I broke it off years ago however we are the best of friends. I’m currently pregnant and single and by the looks of it the baby’s father won’t be around. (I say that because when I was 6 months pregnant I found out my daughter will be his 9th child, he lied to me about the amount of kids he had) I signed papers already to have my tubes tied after I give birth and that alone was a hassle because the doctors feel as though I’m too young. Also close friends and relatives are saying the same and are like “what if you meet your husband and he wants kids?” And to that I reply he can chose from the 3 I already have lol. But in all seriousness, I’m now contemplating on if I actually want to go through with it. At every doctors appointment they ask am I still sure about it and the more they ask, the more I’m not sure. What do you guys think? Should I get it? And have anyone regretted getting one?
