Bee sting reaction??

I got stung on the side of my face by a bee yesterday morning at about 1045. So almost 33 hours ago. And today it’s swelled up just a little, pretty localized. Itchy, red. I feel kinda crummy. Have had some diarrhea and just overall feel blah. Can’t take benedryl because I’m breastfeeding. But I have taken ibuprofen. Does this sound like a normal reaction?? What do I need to watch for this far out?? A little concerned my throat will swell.

Sounds like a normal reaction to me. It was probably a wasp that stung you, and those stings super suck— swelling and soreness are very common. 
If you were going to go into anaphylaxis or anything like that it would have happened already. 33 hours in, it sounds like you’re just experiencing typical irritation.
That said, there’s no reason you can’t take Benadryl while breastfeeding...

Yeah I wouldn’t take Benadryl. I worked really closely with a lactation consultant while I was breastfeeding and Benadryl can dry up your milk supply. Bummer ☹️

benadryl is safe for pregnancy and breastfeeding.

It looks normal for a bee sting and you can take Benadryl while breast feeding, along with ibuprofen and I would put some ice on it. RN here
