Kissing on newborn.???

I’m scheduled to be induced Thursday & I was just curious what peoples opinions were on kissing a newborn. In my opinion I don’t really want anyone kissing my baby right after she’s born & considering the large amount of people that will be visiting me, I’m not too sure how to tell them not to kiss on her. Am I over-reacting?

Nope, we aren’t allowing it either. Just tell them it’s for the baby’s safety until his body starts to build up its immunity.

I don’t do kissing on the lips. Boyfriends dad tried doing that and I stopped. Cheek or forehead I don’t care but never the lips.

tell them you don't want them to kiss her your not over reacting and I am telling everyone not to kiss my son once I have him

I didn't allow anyone to kiss my son other than myself and my husband. Our friends and family understood. We just told them that they could snuggle him and love on him without kissing him. One of my relatives just touched her cheek to his head and made a kissing noise to kind of give him a kiss without touching her lips to him
