I’m nervous about a newborn being in the home with my 11 and 8 year olds who always seem to get sick .. none of us have had what was proved to be the flu.. I’ve read that it’s only 36 percent effective and 25 in the most severe strain. Also one in 4 will not get sick enough to need a doctor even WITH the vaccine.. it’s like people get sick anyways. They mostly get colds ect but evweything is dangerous for a newborn. I’m getting the whooping cough/pertussis at my next appt. YES 25 percent is better than none however, I’ve mostly seen where people still get sick.
