Ttc a girl??? Shettels method?

Disclaimer! No matter if it's a boy or girl I will, of coarse, love the child unconditionally. This post is just for fun and curiosity! :)

We have 1 boy and would love to have a girl this time around. Thinking about using the shettels method and some other suggestions found online such as shallow penetration and incorporating some acidic foods into diet just before ovulation.

Has anyone tried this using Glow? Any successful stories? The shettles method says to have sex 2-4 days before ovulation... does this mean your FIRST ovulation day or your PEAK ovulation day?? Thoughts? Stories?
