Had my ultrasound confirmation today, measuring 6 weeks exactly. Couldn’t see fetus only a yolk sac. Have to go back next week to try to hear the heartbeat and another vaginal ultrasound. Is it normal?? I know I’m early. Just need peace of mind? 😌😩

I went in for my first US today (5 weeks) and they could only see the sack, told me this was normal. Next week I go in for another vaginal US and hopefully will see my peanut and hear a heart beat.

Very normal! That’s why usually OBs wait to do ultrasounds until 8-12 weeks. With my first I didn’t have an ultrasound until 8 weeks. With my second I had one at 5 1/2 weeks and all there was, was a sac and a yolk. Went back at 6 weeks 2 days and there she was a tiny fetal pole with a heart rate of 126. Your baby is growing! It’s just so tiny right now. With this pregnancy (20 weeks) they didn’t do an ultrasound until 12 weeks. Since most of the time early ultrasounds cause poor momma to stress if she doesn’t see baby or heart beat. Relax and enjoy the pregnancy momma! Guarantee next week little baby will be there! Much love!! 💕

This was my six week ultra sound. Look how tiny they are!!! It’s like a little shrimp. Everyone’s experience is different. If you worry that’s not good for you or the baby.
