Stomach Virus?!?

I just drank after my mom who I totally forgot had the stomach virus on Monday. I’m 30 weeks pregnant. What happens if I get it?!?

If you end up vomiting several times, your doc may want to have you go to the hospital for IV therapy to prevent dehydration- if you start to experience symptoms, I’d call your Ob.

If you get it, it’ll just be what she has. Which I’m guessing is diarrhea and/or vomiting ? Nothing bad, it should last only a week maybe

I had the 24 hour flu at 33 weeks. My doctor told me if I couldn’t keep any fluids down to go into the hospital as their main concern was keeping me hydrated.
