26 weeks and about to cry

So there's a great possibility that I have scoliosis (was supposed to get Xrayed for it and mother wouldn't let me back then), and within the past few days my back pain has went from a 1 to a 9 (0 being no pain, and 10 being the worst pain I've ever felt). I'm worried about him, but it's to the point when I wake up in the mornings I can barely walk and I can't stand straight. Any suggestions? Because I'm currently laying here in bed right now about to cry from the pain.

There is also a possibility that it could be a UTI. I was having the same issue today and I checked into the hospital and they ran a urine sample. Turns out it was a severe UTI and had a big possibility of it turning into a kidney infection. So they gave me an antibiotic shot (hurt like hell) and now I’m on macrobit once a day for the rest of my pregnancy because I’m prone to UTIs right now apparently. It never hurts to call the doctor and find out if you should go in. You never wanna risk it and just assume everything is okay. Even if it’s nothing when you get there, better safe than sorry.

Oh man :( I’m sorry to hear that! Maybe baby is just sitting in a super weird position against your back. Take some Tylenol and use a heating pad. I hope everything gets better for you mamas :(

I was just at the doctor yesterday and she did a urine sample and all that :( and when I told her about the back pain she says "yup very common now" But she never told me what would help or anything. And little boy has been so active, and last night I was getting low grade cramps too. But tonight my back pain is horrible :( and I would take a bath but our building currently has no hot water....

I was told (by my doctor) that scoliosis doesn’t cause pain. That’s why they have you screened for it when your younger. Now I have a twin sister, who had pain and she had a very very noticeable curvature. She had very mild to almost no pain before and she had to get surgery done to correct it, and now she’s always in pain bc of the surgery. She had an incomplete fusion. Mine was corrected with a brace, and I had no pain. Literally the only way they would have known I had scoliosis was through X-ray and I had one done bc my twin had a sever case and they wanted to make sure I was okay.
