How far along were you when you got your first ultrasound?

If you got it at 6 or 7 weeks do you wish you woulda waited another week or three? 
I ask because ours in 8 weeks but this is getting extremely hard to not tell anyone especially the parents. I wanna make sure there is a heartbeat before we tell everyone.

I had mine at 6 weeks 6 days due to a previous ectopic and I found out that day I was pregnant with twins also that it was a viable intrauterine pregnancy so I'm glad I did it then to alleviate worry

Your baby can have a heartbeat in the first trimester and still miscarry, unfortunately. They say odds are lower, but I hear of it happening a decent amount on here. It happened to us, as well. Had a heartbeat at 6 weeks and found out at 10 weeks that it passed away shortly after the 6-week appointment. I’d wait.

I had my first at 7 weeks and I’m glad I didn’t wait. It helped calm my nerves a little. I also had one done at 11 weeks, so it’s not like I had to wait a really long time to have another one.

My first pregnancy it wasn't until 9 weeks because they can't see much before then and they just assume all is going well.  BUT since I miscarried that baby 😢 it was earlier for my next baby around 7 weeks.

I had my first at 6 or 7 weeks. And I’m happy i did because i had an early Mc. And having an US early really helped calm my nerves. I had one again at 9w. I’m now 22wks
