Have you ever congratulated a pregnant not-pregnant woman?

So, funny story. Keep in mind I was about 20 or so........
I had a coworker who was just the funniest nicest lady ever. She looked about 7-8 months pregnant. Even had the slight waddle. 
One day I said “Hey Emma” (I can’t remember her name now). “When are you due?”
Without missing a beat she said “Oh Nikki, I’m about 268 weeks. Hopefully soon”
Me: 🤔.........😳........😱 “Oh my God I’m sooo sorry!”
Her: 😊 “Oh girl please. I get it all the time! I just wish this baby would hurry up. It’s probably ready for college now! 🤣😂🤪! Seriously though. I couldn’t be pregnant. My eggs are so old they’re all hard boiled!”
She wasn’t pregnant. She wasn’t fat or even chubby.

My sister carries all her weight in her belly area...like for real skinny legs, no butt and thin little arms. She legit looks 6 months pregnant at least! She’s been asked several times when she’s due...has even been denied service at a bar because the bartender thought she was pregnant. Back in her younger years she asked a coworker of hers that when they weren’t pregnant so she feels it’s karma now lol. It’s made me more cautious...unless I know for sure they’re pregnant or I see the baby crowning I don’t say anything! Lol

My older aunt is no twig and carrying belly fat is a family trait. So one time years ago some lady put her hands on my aunts stomach and said “oh dear how precious a baby is always a blessing” and my aunt had to say “I’m not pregnant” it was so awkward

Oh she was like I said, one of the silliest people I’ve ever met. She would joke with this other guy we worked with who had a HUGE belly. They would fake argue about how they got each other pregnant and wanted snacks. Lol

I worked in a retail store at about 17-18. I was skinny but this was when I just started to gain wait. I was about 130 pounds at the time. Im 5 foot 4 inches. Anytime I would eat.. my stomach kind of swelled a little. Nothing major, it wasnt that serious. It did NOT look like I was pregnant. 
I had one friends mom come in, i was checking her out. She looked at me with her mouth open and eyes big. She said, "Oh my God Emily, youre pregnant?!". I look at her and say, "Uhm, no.". She apologized a little and kind of walked away awkwardly. 
I had another customer that I didnt know look at me and say "You must be having a boy." I said Nope! She said, "Oh a girl!". I said no.. she says "Oh you must of just had your baby.". I looked at her like she was a damn idiot, because she was by that point. Obviously wasnt getting the hint. I told her no again and handed her receipt and she just walked away. She apologize or anything. 
Honestly it didnt really bother me I felt more embarrassed for them when it happened. And then right after a weird feeling sunk in. And it was a terrible feeling. It just made me feel so bad. I didnt understand why i was feeling that way. But i guess inside it really hurt. But really on the outside it didnt bother me. I dont know.. it was weird. 
Im legit 100 pounds more now then I was then and never get asked if im pregnant. But somehow it happened when i was small

Yea i did this once to a girl i worked with turns out she had a medical problem with her bowls or stomach and it was seriously distended and she definitely looked pregnant. She wasnt happy bless her but took it well enough I wanted the ground to swallow me up oops
