I know every woman on here trying to get pregnant posts this same question. How many days after a late period would you take "the test"? My husband have been trying for over a year now and this is the first time my period has been more than 3 days late.

I would take the test the day it was late. I got my positive 4 days before it was due.

With my 1st child I had a BFP 4 days before my period was due. 2nd child I had my BFP 2 days before it was due. And I’m 20 weeks with my 3rd and had a BFP 2 days before AF. It depends on when baby implants. If you are waiting until after your period I would wait a day or so. By then you most likely will have an accurate answer if your periods are very regular and you ovulate pretty regularly around the same cycle day. Much love!!! ❤️

For me it was faint 3 days late and then the next day it was clearly positive. So I say go ahead and take one lol

I took mine a week before my period was due. I took a first response early response test... which in my opinion are the best because they pick up low amounts of hcg.
