Things you wish you’d have known about pregnancy/childbirth or parenting?

I had no idea about a plug or that you bled for weeks after birth. I didn’t know I would be dizzy every time I stood up!
Im 16 weeks now and feel Iv learnt so much already. What Are some things you wish you’d have known About or felt no one ever told you?

I didn't know that many babies won't sleep in their cribs and that many wake up as soon as you try to put them down. I knew babies woke up for eating and changing, but I had no idea how hard it can be to get some babies to sleep. 
I also didn't anticipate how much breastfeeding hurt in the beginning and thought I must be doing it wrong.
I didn't discover using Depends for pp bleeding until my 4th baby. They're way better than pads.

Nobody told me about them massaging your belly after giving birth. It's necessary but holy shit did it hurt 😂 nobody ever told me about that before my first and I was shocked the first time they did it and about punched someone.

No one told me that as a SAHM you never get to eat. My daughter will be dead asleep and as soon as I try to eat something, BAM! she wakes up. She is hungry then she needs to be changed then she won't go back to sleep and just wants to be held until dad gets home. Then 30 seconds later she's out for hours and I sound like a crazy person to him.

You thought. YOUR laundry was never ending? HA! Baby's is worse. 
You can't have enough bibs. I formula feed so only some of the ones I have are absorbent enough for the milk. Others are only gonna be good for solids. I go through 1-2 bibs a day.
Sometimes I hear baby cry in my sleep. I wake up and she's out cold. I dream of baby cry's...
Don't get excited when baby sleeps long periods at an early age. She slept 6 hours one night and I was soooo excited. The next night she woke up... Every. Single. Hour.

I had no idea he would still wake up so much every. single. night.... at 10 months.
I also had no idea I could forget what hot coffee tasted like. Lol it's a joke between my husband and I. He asks how many times I've warmed my coffee, knowing I still never got to drink it warm.

With my first No one and told me about Colic! He screamed for hours all night every night, so we had to stay at my moms so everyone in the house could take shifts walking him around for the first 2 weeks! I wish someone had of told me about mylicon and gripe water! Also no one had told me about all of the crazy noises that babies make the first few weeks. So I literally NEVER slept, even when he did, bc every time he made a gasp or a funny noise i thought he had stopped breathing and jumped up to check on him every 2 minutes.
