Leaking fluids?

So yesterday I believe I may have lost my mucus plug and then last night I had some pinching pains down there so I went and laid down, then this morning I was sitting up in bed and felt a gush not a lot but went through the shorts I was wearing I’m 35 weeks is this normal or should I be concerned?

Yes. Go in to the hospital and have them check you to see if your water broke. If so, baby will need to be monitored until you can safely deliver. Better safe than sorry.

If you felt a gush of fluid like that, they always tell you to go in to be safe! I only had one “gush of fluid feeling” & I ignored it for an other day. 2 days prior, I lost my mucous plug & kept thinking I was losing that ALL day & just kept leaking green stuff & thought it was maybe discharge on top of that making me feel so “wet” down there every 5 mins! Turns out, I was leaking meconium fluid & all together had been leaking for 5 days before going into the hospital!! I could have ended up with a really bad infection or something but with what my little girl had (gastroschisis) that kind of thing was normal for them to come early & also to poop in the womb! I would go get checked out to be safe. Make them check you really good though if the test comes back negative for fluids, because mine did & it was wrong!!! I think leaking meconium fluid though made the test falter. They’re usually really accurate! Good luck!

Why wouldnt you call your doctor or go to l&d if you felt the gush?
