Toddler sleep

Hey there! Has anyone done the Ferber method with a toddler in a floor bed? He used to bedshare but I'm trying to get him to sleep through the night on his own without nursing. We have been using the floor bed for about a month but he still wakes and won't go back down without nursing. So I'm wondering if maybe the Ferber method would work? Or other suggestions?? Thank you!!
